Abstract:

In this study a time measurement of ultrasonic pulses with 10 male and 10 female healthy subjects (23-29 years) reveals a mean “range of motion“ (ROM) of the innominate bones of 4.15° ± 3.12° (p ≤ .05) in the sagittal plane. Gender related differences are not found (p ≥ .05). The two Tubb. pubici, the ASIS and PSIS are used as basing points at the pelvis. They are measured while subjects perform a reciprocal straddle position in the frontal plane.
