Abstract:

Introduction. Assessing the impact of dental pathology on the overall health of the body and the need to incorporate additional diagnostic and treatment methods into the rehabilitation algorithm for dental patients with comorbidities is one of the most pressing issues in dentistry. The literature describes examples of successful collaboration between dentists and physicians in related specialties, but the question of the mechanisms underlying the relationship between the musculoskeletal and dental systems remains open. The aim of the study: based on an analysis of the scientific literature, we aimed to identify traditional and contemporary views on the relationship between the dental and musculoskeletal systems. Materials and methods. The review was based on publications in PubMed, Google Scholar, Cyberleninka, and eLIBRARY databases. Preference was given to articles published in peer-reviewed sources over the past 10 years. Results. The interaction between the musculoskeletal and dental systems is dynamic, with changes in one inevitably affecting the other. Their harmonious collaboration supports posture, the functioning of the masticatory and speech apparatus, and the body as a whole. Understanding of this relationship is important for developing a comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation plan for patients with dental and orthopedic conditions, such as dental anomalies, temporomandibular joint dysfunction, postural disorders, and spinal pathologies. Conclusion. For effective treatment and prevention of these combined conditions, it is essential to consider the entire range of factors, including anatomical, functional, and reflex relationships, and to employ an interdisciplinary approach, expanding collaboration between dentists, osteopaths, orthopedists, neurologists, and other specialists.

Введение. Вопрос оценки влияния стоматологической патологии на общее состояние организма и необходимости включения дополнительных методов диагностики и лечения в алгоритм реабилитации стоматологических больных с сопутствующими заболеваниями является одним из наиболее актуальных в стоматологии. В литературе описаны примеры успешного сотрудничества стоматологов с врачами смежных специальностей, но остается открытым вопрос о механизмах взаимосвязи опорно-двигательного аппарата и зубочелюстной системы. Цель исследования — на основании анализа научной литературы систематизировать традиционные и современные взгляды по вопросам взаимосвязи зубочелюстной системы и опорно-двигательного аппарата. Материалы и методы. Обзор сделан на основе публикаций баз данных PubMed, Google Scholar, Cyberleninka, eLIBRARY. Предпочтение отдавали статьям, опубликованным в рецензируемых источниках за последние 10 лет. Результаты. Взаимодействие опорно-двигательного аппарата и зубочелюстной системы — динамическое, где изменения в одном неизбежно отражаются на другом. Их гармоничная совместная работа обеспечивает поддержку осанки, функционирование жевательно-речевого аппарата и организма в целом. Понимание этой взаимосвязи важно для составления комплексного плана лечения и реабилитации пациентов со стоматологической и ортопедической патологией, такой как зубочелюстные аномалии, дисфункция височнонижнечелюстного сустава, нарушения осанки и патология позвоночника. Заключение. Для эффективного лечения и профилактики сочетанной патологии важно учитывать весь комплекс факторов, включая анатомические, функциональные и рефлекторные взаимосвязи, и применять междисциплинарный подход, расширяя сотрудничество стоматологов с остеопатами, ортопедами, неврологами и врачами других специальностей.
